It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of basketball legend Big Marc Mares. Big Marc died peacefully on Nov. 23, 2023.
Big Marc ran the Reebok Series National Basketball Tournaments. Big Marc influence so many lives across the country. Big Marc was an amazing high school and college athlete.
Big Marc was a friend and mentor. Big Marc is and always will be familia.
Hey Bug Marc thank you for everything you have done for me, my kids, our Hoopsters and all the kids and coaches across the country. Thank you for your friendship, mentorship, love and carnalismo. I will cherish our memories forever. Love you Big Marc.
