Many coaches don't like individual awards and rankings. I happen to agree they are part of the game and good for kids. Coach Wooden said, "Accomplishments as individuals are vital but don’t measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability. Just try to be the best you can be; never cease trying to be the best you can be. That’s in your power. It isn’t what you do, but how you do it.”
